Range Reardon
Filth, dirt, and hunger. That was my life before I stumbled across a junkyard with a closed sign out front when I was twelve years old. Born the son of a drunk and left to fend for myself, I was lost until I was found. Buck Calhoun was an ex-biker struggling with his own demons from his past. He didn’t want me, but I needed him. My persistence paid off and I became one of his junkyard boys. He taught me how to be a man, how to fight, how to survive. He became my mentor, my friend, and my father. He gave us all he could until he had nothing else to offer.
Clover Benjamin
A black sheep, an outcast, and a joke. I don’t fit into my perfect family. They’re a bevy of beauties with outgoing personalities and bubbly personas. I on the other hand, don’t look like them, speak like them, or act like them, but I’ll always be me. I spend my evenings watching classic television while working towards buying my own car. I’m boring. I don’t date, nor do I socialize. That all changes when a sexy Adonis saves me from certain death at the hands of a mutant insect. His masculine beauty takes my breath away, but I know I’ll bore him. The only problem is, he won’t take no for an answer.
New-found love is tested and all hell breaks loose when a stranger from Buck’s past brings danger to the junkyard, threatening the only home they’ve ever known.

Not exactly what I expected.Clover has lead a very dull life. She works at a candy shop and spends her time alone watching old movies. Range had a rough upbringing but has grown into a successful man owning both a junkyard with his friends and a laundromat. He meets Clover when she's freaking out about a spider and is immediately attracted to her. They have a mutual attraction. It's a slow getting to know you relationship, thrown in with some family stuff and biker looking for trouble to get to their happy ever after.
Unfortunately the characters were just boring to me. I know Clover was kind of supposed to be dull but I kept waiting for some shining attributes from her but they never came. Range is supposed to be a badass turned good guy but in reality he just seemed like a nice guy. Which I guess isn't a bad thing it just didn't feel like that was what the author wanted him to be.
The sex was okay. Pretty vanilla. Would have preferred a little more of it in the book.
That being said, there was enough to this story to keep me reading. Some parts were a little drawn out with descriptions but I did want to keep reading it to find out what happened next. If anything, this book made me want to learn more about the supporting characters, especially Max. Would most likely buy his story.
Not a bad debut. Ultimately, I think this story and these characters were just too nice my tastes & lacking depth but I could see where others would enjoy it if sweet is their thing.

The Junkyard Boys edition by SH Richardson Julia Goda Romance eBooks Reviews
Beautifully written. Nice even flow throughout. Characters were believable and well liked. I fell into this story so hard that I read it during the early morning hours when I should have been asleep. Only disappointed was that I expected a bigger climax. I have unanswered questions that I hope will be answered in the next book. Highly Recommended!
A truly delightful novel! This book has the "range" of emotions, plot, romance, and storytelling. The dialogue alone is worth the read. Range and Clover are a modern day couple. The way that the two met is hilarious but believable. The backgrounds of the junkyard boys is unfortunately all true in today's world, let's hope each "boy" gets his story. What can be said about Buck, the mentor and father? Buck raised his boys good.
This was a great book with more layers to it than I was expecting. There's a similar feel to MC books without it actually being about an MC.
To say that Range Reardon comes from a difficult background would be putting it gently, but under the guidance of a gruff, old biker Buck, he grows into a strong and trust-worthy man. When Buck decides it's time for him to move on, he leaves everything to Range. Along with the responsibility of making sure the other "junkyard boys" are looked after. Range doesn't have time for anything other than work and watching out for the boys, until Clover comes along.
Clover Benjamin is nothing like the girls Range is used to dealing with. With her upbeat, positive outlook on life and the fact that she smells like delicious candy, he knows that he'll never get enough of her. Hopefully his ugly past and the dangerous events he finds himself part of won't push Clover out of his life for good.
I would recommend this book and I hope that we get to read more about the other junkyard boys in upcoming books.
I love Range and Clover they couldn't be more different but more perfect for each other. The way Sharon Hall-Richardson writes their story it makes you feel like you are there.
Clover was always getting messed with by her sisters. But Range he had Buck, Sebastian, and Max with him. You will also love the way she has them meet. But you have to buy the book and read to find out more!!!
This is my first book from S H Richardson and I am so pleased to have read it. The characters are so wonderful. Their a bunch of misfits who grew up to be men with the love of a lost man. They call them selves the junkyard boys and their a family. When one finds his forever not everything goes as planned. Tragedy can change ones life but will ever one find their way out. I could not put it down.
I absolutely love this book. Range is a tough alpha male that had to be after his upbringing. Clover had a totally different upbringing, but I think that's what makes them the perfect couple. I love the suspense in this book and I can't wait to read the next book to find out more about Sebastian aka "Drama". This book will make you happy, make you laugh but it will also make you cry. I won't leave any spoilers, but I recommend this book to everyone.
Range, Sebastian and Max are an amazing family. Buck was their savior and father they all needed even if he wasn't their blood. He lived them and taught them to be respectful and always stick together.
Clover had the typical family life except she always felt like she didn't belong . She was a loner striving to get away and be free from the teasing her sisters. Along comes monster spider and it all changes in a whirl.
Range saves her life from the mutant and he becomes her world .
You will laugh , cry and swoon with these boys and Clover .
I can't wait to see where all this is going to go . I have so many questions , will they recover from the tragedy, will Sebastian and Ashley get together, what happens with Max, will Range and Clover get married ?????
I am on pins and needles waiting for the next book...ahhhhg!
I need more and you will too once you start reading.
Hurry up and one click and get to know there amazing Junkyard Boys .
